Hidden World Live - Toronto, Canada - Day 1

Finally! After 8 months, I finish the first days worth of pictures from Fucked Up's record release shows for "Hidden World." Why was I in Toronto? My lovely wife sent me as a gift for my birthday. I hadn't been there since, I'm guessing, 1988. Seeing the line-up of bands playing that weekend, I really wanted to go. It was also great time to hang with old friends and meet some new ones.

Trying out a camera

I took these pictures on 6/1/07 in Torrance, California at Cpl. Joseph Anzack's funeral. He was killed in Iraq. I was trying out a Canon 5D that I borrowed. That is my next camera purchase.

Woohoo!

I actually started working on the photos. I have done 2 out of 4 bands from the 1st show. Should be up in a few days. Scanning is a pain in the ass.

In the meantime...

I forgot to mention that I do have some initial pictures of bands I shot posted in my blog on Myspace from the Fucked Up record release shows.

I have one more show to work on before I start scanning pictures from Fucked Up's record release shows. In the meantime, people can either go to Razorcake Magazine's site or to my Myspace page where I have pictures posted.

First Post

I created this blog as an alternative to my usual postings on Myspace and Razorcake of my pictures that are too volumonous or when I get a hair up my ass and want to do something different. It will be dead here for awhile, but I will post pictures here of my trip to Toronto to see Fucked Up's Record Release shows over Holloween weekend 2006.
